Job Title: Service Advisor

A reputable automobile company that specializes in the sales and repairs of vehicles is seeking to hire a Service Advisor. The Service Advisor serves as the main point of contact between customers and the workshop. The role involves receiving vehicles, understanding customer complaints, preparing job cards, communicating with technicians, updating customers on repair progress, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the repair process.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and professionally attend to inquiries and complaints
• Inspect vehicles with customers during drop-off and document vehicle condition
• Open and manage job cards accurately
• Explain repair recommendations, timelines, and estimated costs to customers
• Coordinate with technicians to monitor repair progress
• Provide customers with regular updates on vehicle status
• Ensure all customer approvals are obtained before additional repairs are carried out
• Manage vehicle check-in and check-out processes
• Maintain proper records of repairs, invoices, and customer information
• Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception/service area
• Support workshop operations and help maintain efficient workflow

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in any related field
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in customer service is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of vehicles and automotive systems is preferred
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Good computer and documentation skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
